To Whom it concerns:

Past creeps up inside
Carefully it’s chosen
Fragile is the thread
Entangled lives as its woven

Time taken a bitter toll
Apologies come trailing
Reaching for a sign
Blindly believing what’s entailing

Where is the sun?
Why does the moon so hide?
Taken this in vain
Suffocating in your stride

Words refuse to stop
Thoughts they taunt me
Forever etched in stone
Mistakes will always haunt me

Empty is my hand
Overflowing is my heart
Take on this world beside me
Or shatter it apart

Fragile is our thread
Carefully it’s chosen
So entangled in our lives
Do we now cherish what we’ve woven?
